Environment

Asia is developing rapidly. In many countries the main source of income is predominantly from agriculture, but industrialization is making up for larger contributions to the GDP every year. As a result the environment is put under stress and results of this manifest in examples like deforestation, erosion, depletion of natural resources, and pollution. We see it as our mission to contribute in an active and innovative manner to a sustainable relation between man and the environment.

Soil
The subsoil is a fundamental part of the quality of life in our everyday environment. Soil protection however is not commonly applied, and contamination of underlying soil and aquifers is often the result. This requires remediation, but also implementation of solution-oriented soil policies. Royal Haskoning has a vast experience in both the institutional aspects of soil prevention, as well as the clean up or remediation. We apply in situ and on site technologies, and deliver balanced solutions in close collaboration with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.

Our clients are public authorities and the industry.
