Water Fund Indonesia (WFI) invests in the rehabilitation and extension of infrastructure of Indonesian water utilities (PDAMs). A Public-Private Partnership (PPP) (sub) contract has been concluded to finance investments in a) renovation and extension of the water company’s treatment plants “Tampan ” and “Rumbai” and b) increase of the transport capacity, perform staff training and subsequently operate the production plants over a period of 10 years. Royal Haskoning assisted the partners with the preparation and implementation of the proposed rehabilitation works for the two treatment plants and the general management of the PPP plan. To further support the process of transition to a successful water utility company Royal Haskoning is now involved in Interim Management Support for business as well as for the production and distribution aspects.
